The purpose of this course is to help a licensee understand tax sales and to guide the investor through a step-by-step process of acquiring real estate through a tax sale.  Also presented is the difference between tax deeds and tax certificates. Important issues are explored such as the different types of tax sales, researching tax sale properties, preparation for attending the sale, and important legal issues a tax buyer should be knowledgeable of prior to participating in a tax sale.

Knowledge of tax sales become a significant tool in the kit of licensees, not only for personal use, but to assist clients.
