Express Learning Centers FAQs

Q: I see a fee of $149 for online courses, but then what about this $19.95 for each exam?
A: Two different programs. If you choose lifetime CE with a $149 investment, you have complete access to all our online courses and exams now and during all future consecutive renewal periods. For life.

That is, unless you prefer the "Pay As You Go!" plan, in which you pay just for the exams as you need them ($19.95 ea.) after taking the free course(s).

You can return to the home page and see the link to the left of the announcer to get a snapshot explanation of the differences between the programs.

Q: I can't believe that I'll never pay an online course fee again with lifetime enrollment?
A: Believe it. We do require a single $35 fee each renewal period (waived for your first period) to cover our costs to send all your grade reports to the state.

Q: No other costs?
A: None. Ever. Period. Be done buying courses every two years at other schools!

Q: Should I enroll now, or wait?
A: Enroll now, of course! You have until you take your first exam (or up to 6 months) to get a refund of your lifetime enrollment, and you can start seeing what the courses are like. And you can start getting your Refer-A-Friend credits that are made available only with lifetime enrollment.

Q: Did I read that right: I can make up to $500.00 a year just by having my licensee friends join lifetime enrollment and pass an exam?
A: Yes.

Q: In other words, I'm getting paid to attend your school?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you refresh and add new courses?
A: That's our job. You'll see fresh material when you come back for your next renewal period.

Q: What if I don't need to take all the required courses with you for renewal?
A: No problem. Take just what you need to complete the state's renewal requirement. The state totals your progress from all schools you've attended.

Q: What if I don't like an elective course I selected?
A: Just abandon it and select another. You should be getting the idea that education with us comes with no risk, just benefits.

Q: What if I can't do all my study online?
A: You can just as easily as seeing this page download our material to save on your computer, or simply print pages, chapters, or whole courses on paper.

Q: Do I have to come to the school to take a test?
A: No. That would convenience us, not you. Take the test wherever you want. A test monitor (proctor) must watch you take the online exam--a state requirement.

Q: Can anyone be my proctor?

A: Just about. See our "Be a Test Proctor" page to know more.

Q: There's got to be a catch?

A: No, there doesn't. We've been at it a long time to make this pleasant for you.

Q: How do I know you're a state-approved school?

A: You can see our license, or go to the state web site list.
