Designation with   FSS&R   Rating Certifications (Initial and Renewal)
The Specialized Service Provider (SSP) designation informs those with whom you do business that you have the necessary tools to engage in certain real estate transactions. The pace of certain transactions is driven by institutional needs beyond the control of licensees, and without knowledge and skill a licensee can greatly hinder the transaction.

This designation serves to assure the public and the industry that real estate licensees possess a level of education and experience to conduct transactions involving any or all of 5 rating certification areas: Foreclosure Sales, Short Sales, Real-Estate-Owned Sales, Broker Price Opinion, and Auctions.
Have conducted at least 2 transactions in each rating sought within the previous 24 months.

Complete an Express-approved course covering subjects in the rating sought within the previous 12 months.

Hold an active real estate license for at least 12 months prior to application.
