CE is required for salespersons not transitioning to a broker license between May 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012 and for those who pass the exam to "test out" of needing to take the upgrade course for broker. On May 1, 2012 all salesperson licenses will expire. There is not an April 30, 2011 CE deadline for salespersons--the deadline has been extended to April 30, 2012. (An additional year has been added to the period; that's why 18 hours of CE are required, not 12.)
